After much hard work by our development team we have created one of our most powerful and yet simple tools to date! Our mobile app is completely free to download and use for therapists who have an Easy EMDR subscription and for all of their clients. On a more convenient platform, it delivers the same HIPAA compliant connection. Because it is suitable for a diverse range of environments, we hope this app will help reduce barriers to treatment so desperately needed by many.
About the app
The secure video call can be used with as many clients as you like and has no time limit. We understand that for insurance, logistical, and other reasons, lengthy sessions are not a practical option for many people. However, as demonstrated by a 1997 study, “As good as it seems? A review of EMDR experimental research”, treatment lasting more than 60 minutes is a major contributing factor in improving anxiety and depression. At Easy EMDR, we are doing everything in our power to make these longer sessions as convenient as possible!
The app includes a diagonal bilateral path in both directions to improve use of smaller screens. This is particularly important when using cell phones.
One of our favorite accessibility features is that visual element and background contrast can be optimized for color-blind users. These clearly labeled options feature a host of beautiful shade and color combinations and are also great for all patients. Additionally, we have a wide range of background and element options in warm and cool shades, solid colors, patterns, images, child-friendly shapes, and much more. How is it used?
The mobile app and website are compatible with each other, so both you and your client can use whichever you prefer. Easy EMDR's app is a great way to supercharge your practice now!
